Here at LR Hotshots, our Body Shop have been hard at work building our new trucks LR70 and 71.
The 2026 Isuzu FVR170-260 is coming along nicely with all the hard work, efforts and customisation that have been poured into this build.
We have:
– Extended the Chassis to give us an overall tray length of 8575mm
– Design and fabricate custom brackets throughout the build
– Installed a lazy axle to the rear of the drive axle
– Fit 2x 800 Litre CUSTOM BUILT fuel tanks
– Installed 2 x toolboxes
– Repositioned spare wheel placements
– Relocated air tanks from outside Chassis to inside to create space for fuel tanks
– Renew air lines to fit new length from back to front of vehicle
– Fit brand new Air-condition unit to cab (This kind of unit is the first of its kind being installed)
– Design and fabrication to move hydraulic tank and coolant expansion tank to make space for the air-conditioning unit
– Installed additional crossmembers for optimal tray support
– Design placements of wheel boxes
