Fatigue Management Policy

LR Hotshots understands the potential risk involved with fatigue on its workforce and impact on performance and well-being of its people.

LR Hotshots will at all times show “Due Diligence” in taking every precaution reasonable to protect the safety and health of their workers, customers and the general public.

As such LR Hotshots places emphasis on the importance of sleep and the timing of work and rest. Therefore, every effort has been made to implement operating standards designed to promote a systematic approach to organising trip schedules and driver rosters to minimise both risks and hazards that may arise from fatigue.

Legislation offers flexibility in hours of work to reflect the geography of Western Australia and the distances driven. LR Hotshots has procedures in place that align with legislative requirements. All personnel employed with LR Hotshots are required to follow these standards as a minimum.

They cover:

  • Working hours
  • Non work time
  • Breaks
  • Hours of rest
  • Regulation requirements: Australian standards/ regulations, codes of practice, Operating standards
  • Company requirements, policies, procedures, standards, risk assessments
  • Medical certificates/ fitness for work
  • Record keeping
  • Journey management plans
  • Remote working requirements
  • Emergency management plans

All Employees shall refer to LR Hotshots Fatigue Management Procedure for details on Company expectations.
