Bullying & Harassment Policy

LR Hotshots Pty Ltd considers workplace bullying unacceptable and will not tolerate it under any circumstances.

LR Hotshots Pty Ltd is committed to the provision of a fair, healthy and safe workplace in which everyone is treated with dignity and respect and in which no individual or group feels bullied, threatened or intimidated.

Workplace bullying is ‘the repeated less favourable treatment of a person by another or others in the workplace, which may be considered unreasonable and inappropriate workplace practice’. It includes behaviour that intimidates, offends, degrades or humiliates a worker, possibly in front of co-workers, clients or customers. However, workplace harassment does not include reasonable management action, taken in a reasonable way by the person’s employer in connection with the person’s employment.

Bullying may be physical or psychological behaviour or conduct where strength (including strength of personality) and/or a position of power is misused by a person in a position of authority or by a person who perceives that they are in a position of power or authority. Workplace bullying may cause the loss of trained and talented employees, reduce productivity and morale and create legal risks.

This company believes that all employees should be able to work in an environment free of bullying, managers and supervisors must ensure employees are not bullied.

LR Hotshots Pty Ltd encourages all employees to report workplace bullying. Managers and supervisors must ensure witnesses or employees who make complaints are not victimised.

Disciplinary action will be taken against anyone who bullies a co-worker. Discipline may involve a warning, counselling, demotion or dismissal, depending on the circumstances.
